Version 3.08 (March 29, 2000)
- Resolved the problem with
double-clicking on an area, curve, or point to access the properties.
An error message occasionally occurred (usually "exception in
10H") and MapViewer shut down on some computers with floating
point exception masks turned on.
- Fixed image reversal when exporting to a
DXF file.
Version 3.07 (February 6, 2000)
- Resolved "The MSVCP60.DLL file is
linked to missing export MSVCRT.DLL:_lc_collate_cp" error.
Version 3.06 (January 17, 2000)
- Fixed problem with font attributes such
as bold and italic not being recognized in imported file formats that
contain text information.
- Fixed problem when importing a GSM into
another GSM that resulted in the error, " "Internal Error,
Module MapViewer, file fonttab.cpp, line 137."
- Corrected Boundary | Connect Curves
issue - sometimes the closest points were not connecting to each
other.
Version 3.05 (July 21, 1999)
- Installation program now requires a
valid MapViewer version 3 serial number to install the program.
- Problem with pasting copied maps back
into MapViewer under Windows 95 was fixed. Maps appeared distorted.
- Modified the print dialog code to match
the copy count in the Print dialog with that in the Print Setup
dialog. This also reduces the memory size to that of one copy even if
the copy count is set to greater than 1 in the Print dialog.
- Moved centroids were not being saved in
the new position in a GSM file. The centroids were reverting to their
original positions when opening the GSM.
- Extrusion vector Z < 0.0 was making X
coordinates change sign in DXF.
- Added support for unlimited number of
characters per line in a DXF file. This is a new feature in AutoCAD
2000.
- Text copied from the worksheet window is
now properly pasted into the map window.
Version 3.04 (December
18, 1998)
- Fixed problem with double-quotes
surrounding a PID in a BLN file when importing the file.
- Fixed speed of: deleting a column in the
worksheet, using the Undo | Paste command, and hiding thousands of
rows.
- Fixed problem with data disappearing
when pasting into whole rows.
- Fixed an object's line and fill
attributes incorrectly displaying during reshaping of an adjacent
object.
- Corrected File | Import | GSM with
graticules (the graticules were not showing).
- Fixed the points field setting on the
latitude label page because it was not setting the point size.
- Removed the limit on the maximum number
of overlays allowed.
- Changed all file names to short file
names.
- Created new demo version.
Version 3.03 (July 17,
1998)
- Fixed problem with loading Excel 97
spreadsheets created by Access 97.
- Added code to optionally export to the
older format of GSB file.
- Fixed problem with arrowheads on text
underline or strikethrough.
- Corrected the problem with PID / SID
drawing order.
- Allow Pin Map points beyond -180 to +180
range because of problems with Alaska and Russia. The new range is
-360 to +360.
Version 3.02 (April
14, 1998)
- Fixed problem with stack overflow
(0xc00000fd), address 0x00427f4.
- This version assigns graticule to the
current layer. Legend, post map text, pin map label, the objects
representing pin map selection region (see Map/Pin map subset/Define
region menu) and its text, such as the text for radius, are always
plotted on top of the graticule on that layer. When the layer with
graticule is deleted, the graticule will be deleted with the layer.
- Added code in setup program to install
the GSI Default Symbols font set (GSDEFSYM.TTF).
- Added opaque text support.
- Added fill and edge color support for
symbols.
- Changed code to preserve scale of the
objects when printing.
- Fixed saving the file with quotes
surrounding the file name - if you add quotes to the file name it
should over-ride adding any additional extensions as specified in the Save
as type field.
- Added a warning message when legend is
about to be resized and asks the user whether he or she wants to
resize it.
- Added a warning message that a copied
legend cannot be pasted as a GS MapObject.
- Fixed problem with printing using the
"Separate..." button. After clicking on the separate button,
very large text appeared on the screen.
- Fixed Arrange | Align objects with
respect to IDs.
- Fixed Arrange | Rotate objects updating
the PID and SID to the correct position.
- The position of rotated TrueType text
objects was off by a small amount.
- Changed code to check for duplicate
adjacent vertices in prism map building to prevent the normal face
error message.
Version 3.01 (February
24, 1998)
