pedestrian-friendly vacation. It has two first
class hotels, several bed and breakfasts, an RV park,
several museums, a recreation
center, more than two dozen restaurants, and three dozen
shops...all within
easy walking distance.
Clear Creek runs through
Downtown, making fishing, kayaking, and tubing also
available within walking distance!
You can also take one of several
self-guided walking tours,
covering art, architecture, and natural features.
Business travelers take note: the
Colorado School of Mines is two blocks west of
downtown, and the Coors
brewery is two blocks east.
Parking is free and plentiful in Downtown Golden, but
while you're staying here, you may never want your car!
